540 MW Oymapınar Hydroelectric Power Plant at Antalya Manavgat has an annual power generation capacity of 1,620,000,000 Kwh. Hydraulic and electric control systems of Oymapınar was modernized with an investment of USD 14.6 million and power generation was increased by 5 percent. Eti Alüminyum started to use natural gas and local coal instead of fuel-oil to save 100,000 tons of fuel-oil annually; a total amount of USD 70 Million was saved as a result, which is a significant contribution to national economy.
